Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at trustinus365@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We provide non-medical services to individuals who need assistance with daily activities due to aging, illness, disability, or other life challenges. We dispatch In-Home Care Specialists to clients' homes to assist them in remaining comfortably at home.

The services provided by a In-Home Care Specialist

1. Companionship:

  • Providing emotional support and social interaction.
  • Accompanying clients on errands or appointments.
  • Offering light conversation and helping combat loneliness.

2. Household Help:

  • Light housekeeping (e.g., laundry, dishwashing, dusting)
  • Meal preparation and help with eating
  • Grocery shopping or running errands

3. Transportation Assistance:

  • Providing rides to medical appointments, social activities, and grocery shopping. This depends on what your insurance allows.

4. Respite Care:

  • Temporary relief for family caregivers by stepping in for a few hours or days to care for a loved one.

We currently accept long-term care insurance and private pay.

The type of care required and your insurance coverage will determine the details. For more information, please contact your insurance provider. If you are paying privately, call the office at 207-250-3837 to inquire about pricing.

As a non-medical agency, our role is to provide comfort to the client and to contact the necessary emergency services when needed.

Our services are tailored to each situation, reflecting our commitment to supporting the families within our community.

Assess Your Needs

  • Physical and Emotional Support: Do you need help with basic tasks like dressing, bathing, or using the bathroom? Are you experiencing mobility challenges, or do you need assistance with medication management?
  • Health Conditions: Do you have chronic health conditions or disabilities that limit your ability to perform daily tasks independently (e.g., arthritis, Alzheimer’s, stroke recovery)?
  • Mental Health: Are you feeling isolated, lonely, or experiencing mental health challenges that could benefit from having a caregiver assist you or offer companionship?

Level of Independence

  • Mild vs. Significant Support: If you can still manage some activities independently but need occasional help, PSS care may be a good fit. If your needs are more complex (e.g., round-the-clock care), you may need a higher level of care, like nursing services.
